The Confederation of Professional Investigators UK is a collective of Core Stakeholder Groups within the Private Investigation industry and as such:
- COPI UK does not carry out any financial transactions. Stakeholder groups do not pay any membership fees.
- COPI UK does not admit individuals into membership.
- COPI UK does not control, process or store any personal data, and has no requirement to register with the ICO as it does not act as either a Data Controller or Data Processor. ICO exemption : according to an online assessment, also a telephone discussion with an ICO official COPI UK is exempt from registering with the Information Commissioner’s Office at this time.
- COPI UK stakeholders and their respective members are registered with the ICO and handle data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
- COPI UK stakeholders are responsible for ensuring as part of their membership application process that their respective members hold appropriate DBS certification, insurance, ICO registration and trade accreditations/qualifications.
- Cookies are not used on this website.
